Helena’s Hawaiian Food was founded in 1946 and is one of the oldest and most authentic restaurants in Hawaii.  Known for authentic Hawaiian food like kalua pig, lau lau, short ribs (pipikaula style), fried butterfish collar and haupia, Helena’s  has won many awards, including the James Beard Regional Classic Award in 2000.
